The nose reveals a high complexity with red fruits such as\u00a0 blackberries and blueberries with some hints of lavender and a touch of regaliz. The palate is well structured, with excellent volume. It&#8217;s fresh with elegant tannins and a long and persistent finish.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;A strong contender for the title of best Cabernet Franc in Chile, this wouldn\u2019t look out of place on Bordeaux\u2019s right bank. Graphite and green herb aromas lead into a plate that is silky, refreshing and floral. Classy stuff \u201d. <strong>Maquis Franco,\u00a096 Points from\u00a0Tim Atkin, 2018<\/strong><\/em><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The top of the range here is a Cabernet Franc\u00a0 selected from the best plots planted with an ungrafted massal selection of the variety on alluvial clay and gravel soils. The hand-harvested grapes fermented with selected yeasts in stainless steel. The wine is put in barrel after malolactic, and the \u00e9levage lasted some 24 months. It&#8217;s still young, but it seems to have the concentration, freshness and balance to overcome it with a little more time in bottle. The palate shows a power and elegance.
